YX25 is more than a festival – it’s a collective awakening. It’s where dreamers, dancers, doers, poets, and programmers breathe life into their visions. With Nedbank as the gateway, the festival celebrates youth who are loud, bold, and original.
At the heart of YX25 are the YouthX Awards – a powerful tribute honoring the energy and impact of 10 young South Africans who are creating change across industries and communities. On the YX25 stage, one exceptional youth will be crowned the official 2025 YouthX Awards winner, taking their place among South Africa’s brightest trailblazers.
More than music, more than vibes, YX25 is a 12-hour cultural shutdown that blurs the lines between hustle and play.
Music lovers are in for a treat with an electrifying line-up of South Africa’s top music talent, including DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Mellow & Sleazy, Shekinah, Shamiso, Sun-El Musician, and global rap star Nasty C. Fan favourites DJ 1D and Omagoqa will also light up the stage, with media personalities Primo9Teen and Lula Odiba returning as hosts to keep the energy buzzing all day.
