Tested in the Streets: UA Infinite Elite 2 Running Shoe Review

Powered by Under Armour Running | In collaboration with Sunday Shuffle

This past weekend, the CultureCollecter and SportCollecter teams joined Sunday Shuffle Run Club for a morning run through the streets of Morningside, Sandton — putting Under Armour’s latest drop, the UA Infinite Elite 2, to the test.

Built for runners who move with purpose and style, this performance shoe showed up — and showed off.

Fit First: Comfort in Motion

From the first stride, the Infinite Elite 2 delivered noticeable comfort and control.

“Very light on the feet. Not too soft, not too hard — it’s that perfect middle ground,” said Rich, one of our featured runners.

“I usually struggle with pressure on the tongue, but this one hugged my foot just right. Great blood flow. No foot fatigue,” added Zuko.

Whether jogging or picking up pace, the shoe disappears — allowing the runner to stay focused, fluid, and free.

Pavement Tested: Performance Check

We hit elevation shifts, speed zones, and steady strides across Sandton’s urban terrain. The verdict? Reliable responsiveness and smooth transitions.

“I’m looking forward to clocking speed runs in these. They’re confident on foot,” said Rich.

“Not too bouncy, not too rigid — just consistent energy return.”

Looks That Lead

Under Armour nailed the aesthetic this time — minimal yet bold.

“The blue colourway is cold. Clean lines, great silhouette — and on video? It pops.”

“It fits my lifestyle, not just my pace. That’s key.”

The Infinite Elite 2 holds its own in both performance and visual identity — something we rarely see in technical running silhouettes.

Final Word

The UA Infinite Elite 2 is a step forward — literally. From inner-city runs to lifestyle integration, it’s a shoe for those who want comfort, confidence, and edge in every stride.

Under Armour Running made a statement.
We ran it. We captured it.
And we’ll be back for more.
