CENTRAL CEE TO HEADLINE HEY NEIGHBOUR FEST 2025

UK Rap Powerhouse Joins Doja Cat & Leon Thomas for Explosive Two-Day Festival

PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA — The Neighbourhood just got a whole lot louder. Fresh off the buzz from Monday’s announcement, Hey Neighbour Fest has confirmed CENTRAL CEE as the Day One headliner, officially setting the tone for what is shaping up to be South Africa’s most culture-shifting music experience of 2025.

For those still recovering from the 2023 edition, here’s your relief: Hey Neighbour is now compressed into a high-energy two-day format — Saturday, 30th to Sunday, 31st August 2025. That means no more mid-week hustle or sneaking out early from the office. This time, it’s straight vibes.

Headlining Saturday’s stage is none other than Central Cee, the UK rap juggernaut who’s taken global charts by storm. From breakout tracks like “Doja” to collaborative smashes and a billion+ Spotify streams in just 12 months, Cench’s rise has been nothing short of seismic. This marks his first official appearance in SA, and the streets are ready.

Following suit, Doja Cat and Leon Thomas will close out the festival on Sunday, wrapping up the weekend with a genre-blending, star-studded finish.

“We’re pulling in icons who are actively defining global music culture,” said Hey Neighbour’s team. “This is more than a festival — it’s a statement.”
