Day 1 join us in conversation on October 14th, Saturday, hosted by Lwazi Madonsela from the Cnr Juta & De Beer podcast alongside Ayabonga Ngoma from The House of Diamonds and FOMO Fridays. They will guide you through a captivating live podcast experience and will be joined by a stellar lineup of artists and activists whose work aligns with the ‘Be True’ values of equality, community, culture, and belonging. Notable guests include visual artist Haneem Christian, activist Thami Dish from the Thami Dish Foundation, wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane, and former Olympic sprinter Alyssa Conley. They will share their inspiring stories alongside captivating performances by drag sensation Adam “The Glamour Clown”, beats by DJ Lelowhatsgood from Vogue Nights Jozi, comedy from Lindy Johnson and the melodious tunes of musician Zoë Modiga.
