About Noon Dave
Noon Dave, born on the 23rd of May as David Obafemi in Benin Republic is a singer/songwriter currently signed to Chocolate City Music. The Ogun state-originated artist started writing music at an early stage. He spent most of his childhood in Lagos state, Nigeria, and developed most of his influence in the state.
An alumni of Peter Kings College of Music, he taps into his songwriting inspiration from a diverse exposure of soaking up elements of Soul, R&B, Pop, Reggae, and of course, Afrobeats to create his unique sound. This enables him to create wonderful music for everyone effortlessly.
In 2022, he signed a Recording Artist Agreement with Nigeria’s foremost entertainment company, Chocolate City Music to enhance his music-making further and attain greater heights with his sound. His approach to music promises to keep him relevant in the music scene for a long time. Later that year, he released his debut single “Brunch”, a classic throwback with daring yet not too risque lyrics. He sings almost about exclusively taking his lover to brunch- or more specifically about the titillating promise of sex. This single “Brunch” has garnered approximately 1 Million streams on all platforms so far since its release.
