K.O Set to drop SETE Remix

K.O TAKES MASSIV HIT “SETE” TO THE NEWER HIEGHTS WITH REMIX FEATURING AFRICA’S FINEST OXLADE AND DIAMOND PLATIMUM.

After the massive success of the Afrobeats inspired mega hit “SETE” K.O ups the stakes with his “SETE” remix. The SA rapper joins forces with Africa’s biggest exports, trailblazer Nigerian singer Oxlade and Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz. The Remix will be available on all digital platforms. Originally released on the 16th September 2022, “SETE” dominated the South African official charts, radio airwaves and playlists, ranking up numerous accolades for the single;20 weeks at no.1 on SA radio charts, 10 million YouTube views in a month after the release (currently sitting at over 27 million views), becoming the first SA artist to reach 10 million streams for a single in a month.

Fueled by an unstoppable momentum like being cited by Rolling Stone as one The 40 Best Afropop Songs of 2022 K.O now takes “SETE” to newer heights set for global supremacy.

K.O sharing because he made  the remix “I was never big on remixes, but I believed it could be a great chance for us to take “SETE” it to the next level, especially bringing in some amazing acts from the continent.”

The remix keeps to the original track’s Afrobeats inspired sound with a South African influence brought by the upbeat lyrics of Amapiano Superstar Young Stunna.  Oxlade comes through with his contemporary Nigerian pop style to add a fresh take made up of soft, sensual yet arresting melodies, not to be outdone Diamond Platnumz adds his ki’swhailli  romantic finesse.

Speaking about his collaboration with Oxlade and Diamond Platnumz, K.O adds “I chose Oxlade and Diamond Platnumz because I wanted to make it organic, and they both bring the West and East of Africa together which is what I had hoped for.”

K.O is already in studio cooking up a new project, drawing a lot of lessons from the success of ‘SETE’ the rapper plans to produce easily exportable sounds in the upcoming body of work.
